Andy, one of the UPC Admission Advisors, was an international student from 2017-2019. Below are Andy’s expenses during his first year of study between 1st September 2017 and 31st August 2018. Andy attended school full time, worked part-time during weekends, and joined clubs and volunteering.

Andy worked part-time 20 hours per week at C&C Supermarket starting from 2 January 2018. His starting hourly salary was $13.15 and earned more than $13600 during 2018. Starting from December 2024, international student are allowed to work off-campus up to 24 hours per week during their academic study. The minimum wage in BC is $17.40 per hour since 1 June 2024.
